The Ningaloo Coast is a World Heritage listed area spanning 300km of pristine, fringing coral reef and terrestrial habitats. Exmouth sits toward the northern end of this area. Every few months there is a change in nature event for migrating sea birds, many whale species, nesting sea turtles, manta rays, nursing sharks and rays, dugongs, dolphins, and many more as well as the very famous whalesharks, which congregate mostly between March and September, creating our busy tourist season. It’s an incredibly special place to live and work. October to March is turtle season and if you were to visit one of the local beaches during that time, you would likely be lucky enough to see a nesting turtle or two or hatchlings bursting out of their nest and rushing to the water before their land predators can get them, much like in the video above. Finish your days at the beach, or start them there, and enjoy the snorkelling/diving and hiking on your days off. We hope to welcome you soon.
